I like her

ZOMG!! how gorgeous is that dog.

The new director just "seems" like a really nice person.. I hope she's as good as this appearance.

Personally, I do not like her thinking.
She makes it seem as if you love them and treat them good they will be okay. In my own experience and also the expreiences my friends have had, it's not "how you raise them." Their genetics play a role and you can't get away from that.
They were bred to fight, and most of them will do that no matter how good they are treated.

I dunno Luisa, I think I'd rather send SME to Room 12.

As sad as I am to see Ms. Barnette leave the animal sheltering community of the greater Seattle area, I think LA Animal Services *needs* someone like her. Smart choice by the politicos who selected her!

And for the record, Connie Thomsen (the reporter in the clip) is the "go to" reporter for coverage of animal issues in the area. She might be a little nervous about petting the wiggly lap of pit bull love, but I'd guess she actively chose to have pit bulls be the feature of the segment. Kudos to her.

Brenda's great - a true heart. I really hope L.A. doesn't eat her alive.
